# 05 Benefits

$MORROW is designed to function as the **incentive and coordination layer of the MORROW ecosystem**.

As the protocol develops, $MORROW will increasingly connect the participants that make up the network including Creators, Allocators and the broader MORROW community.

#### Incentives

$MORROW can be used to incentivize activity that contributes to the growth of the ecosystem, including Creator programs, competitions, ecosystem initiatives and other protocol-defined rewards.

The objective is to align incentives with the long-term growth and adoption of MORROW.

#### Stakeholder Governance

As MORROW moves toward greater decentralization, $MORROW is intended to become a mechanism through which stakeholders can participate in **protocol governance**.

Token-based governance can ultimately give participants a voice in decisions surrounding the evolution of the protocol, ecosystem initiatives and other governance parameters.

#### Platform Rewards & Access

As the MORROW ecosystem develops, certain **platform rewards, features and access mechanisms** may become available to $MORROW holders.

These may include access to selected ecosystem programs, Creator competitions, platform features or other benefits introduced by the protocol over time.
